I have done about 37 years of research about being a human. My conclusion… Most of us suck.
I really like the last panel.
It’s not cool to flick your cigarette away.
Picking it up makes you look way cooler. Even with bright Background lighting.
If he stand on a cliff with a giant wave crashing into it, it wouldn’t look any more badass.
I’ve never been in a position to pick up a cig I’ve seen someone toss (generally out of a moving car) but I will pick up litter if I’m able.
Absolutely yes! All smokers are litterbugs that should be disciplined by the littering laws and fined thousands of dollars.
Well, maybe not all, but I’ve seen MANY;)
That last panel sums up my feelings about people as well.
vile, just vile!
Does that mean the rest blow?
Sorry, couldn’t resist replying to the comment beneath the comic. 😀
Generally speaking, I agree that people are usually self-interested and often inexcusably lazy when it comes to things like public health and safety, but I don’t agree with his method of self-improvement. Hate really only causes additional stress and exhaustion, which ultimately harms you, not the object of your hatred. It’s particularly ineffective if you aren’t actively engaging with them in some way that makes it clear that you are opposed to them. So my philosophy on hate, though it might sound corny to some, is akin to one of my favorite quotes from the character Aria T’Loak from Mass Effect 2, who when asked about hating her enemies simply stated, “I don’t have time for hate.” Not necessarily an easy path to take, but a worthy one. 🙂
Only the nice ones swallow…or something:)
