I will be the first to admit that my “IRL” house pales in comparison to anything I’e built in Minecraft, and I am not talking in sheer scope and opulence. I am speaking strictly about tidiness and disrepair. If there is a single block out of place in my compound, i can almost sense it. I must find it and fix it. In my home, I have been known to stare at a pile of dishes for the better part of week. Though my wife has trained me up on the finer points of cleanliness (Note; I’m a work in progress).

I had a safehouse like that on my first map I played. I eventually lined it with TNT and blew a huge crater sized hole in its remains. Damn, that was fun.
I have gashed many a crater in my world with the lovely TNT.
Had this happen last night with some friends of a friend. Said friend was also planting trees everywhere. So I confined them to a small NPC village and had them work there. God, it was like children running the daycare! Went against every fiber of my being, but it was good to share and not take Minecraft so seriously for a bit.
Had to save, because Kevin was continuing his beautiful architectural work at the same time. Metaphor for life, I guess.

I wish we had at least one person half that dedicated to his MC house on our server, but alas I have to settle for the occasional factory builder.
