You think labor day is a day to honor the workers of our nation? No! It’s the darkest day in history, when all labors happened at once!
I’m going to borrow this for the next time I am asked to babysit.
And on the dreaded day of Labor, a lone knight emerged from the skies by the great egyptian bacon god Makuffan, and slew all those who dared enforced upon the labor of mortal men with his chain breaker axe. When the deed was done, he split the earth to create a river of mountain dew and a whole mountain of doritos. The mortal men asked this grey knight who he was, in which the knight gave them many names. The slayer of a thousand men, the bear swallower, but his true name is a name that will never be forgotten and shall be told throughout generations to come…BIG DICK BAZUSO!
This is going to sound silly, but I honestly thought of Henry V’s famous speech about St. Crispin’s Day when I read this comic.
“This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.”
Yeah, my mind is funny like that, but I’m just going to say to you, “Well done,” and call it good. 😉
