At the urging of my pal Rickard, I purchased the WarZ Alpha. So far it’s pretty much walk around in a creepy wilderness and try to avoid zombies and other people on the server. It is an earlier version and I hope all the updates to come will really make this the Zombie Survival MMA that I’ve always wanted, but if it isn’t, we still have State of Decay to pin our hopes on.
I will play more soon and either I or some of the talented writers from Control Freaks will give you some more detail.

You haven’t played the DayZ Mod?
WarZ is an almost exact clone. Same concept, same gameplay etc. I would recommend giving DayZ a go… except that after you get killed 4 times by hackers in the first hour you’ll end up cursing me forever more.
I have heard yeah, I have heard that WarZ is a bit better, and honestly at first I thought they were the same game:)
I watched the WarZ gameplay videos. Haven’t tried the alpha yet but apart from the graphics and improved interface I was having serious déjà vu.
But I guess there are only so many ways to make Running Simulators.
It’s like “That’s a nice boulder, I like that boulder”.
