I haven’t actually played the 360 version of Minecraft and I can’t say I’m not interested to but dammit it seems that it would be a slap in the face of my Minecreaft…you know the one I bought with way more stuff to do and way more options…not to mention a server I pay monthly for…anyway. I’m done now.

I am playing a couple of round of MtG right now while my Diablo III downloads…and then I think we all know what this weekend will hold in store. Oh yeah.

So listen, I still haven’t seen The Avengers. You don’t have to say it, I already know. It hurts me deep. Anyway. I have magic to…um …magic.

Gonzo hates it when I do this, but following me on Twitter saves a baby kitten every minute;)

So I don’t have it yet, but want it badly. I am likely going to download it tomorrow, and do my very best not to give it a try at work (try). I watched about an hour and half of video last night and really want to sing my loot login’ dungeon plundering teeth into it.

Got to play a little MtG with my new pal Felipe. He is interning at my company, and left his decks at home so I lent him one of my pre-made decks. We had a couple of pretty good matches. I look forward to playing with him some. Hopefully my buddy Nick saw enough of the game play that it whet his appetite and he will join in soon.

Ah Burton…he is consistent, you can never take that away from him. I am actually pretty jazzed to see Dark Shadows to be honest. Or Edward SciccsorHands VI: The Dark Shadowing. But really, I totally am.

Listen, I am developing a real problem with MtG now. I have built 8 decks and just want MORE! Chris Bergman came over last night an kicked my ass with his damn human quick deck… I shall have my revenge good sir.

All and all, not bad. The family and I actually watch We Bought a Zoo, and I had no idea it was going to make me cry like three times. Whatever. I have also been listening to a lot one one Mr. ALex Clare. I mentioned him before, and I am no closer to being able to give you an accurate description of his music. Just go check it out.

A pretty relaxed mothers day today. The family came over, dinner with the in-laws and then some Game of Thrones to end the day.

May Monday at least buy you dinner first.

Whew…I struggled something’ fierce with this strip and I know what you’re thinking, got it was worth it. I mean, this is a masterwork of a jerking off joke. Please, quite down now, I have to finish this blog,  hold your applause and rose/panty throwing until the end.

Really though Microsoft..you own Internet Explorer and even the Wii can surf the web <slowly shakes head in disgust> though I must admit I can’t give less of a shit about surfing the web with Kinect or any apparatus attached to my xbox.

People, I have a problem…Magic The Gathering consumes almost every one of my thoughts these days. Will it ever stop? Yo, I don’t know, turn out the lights, and I’ll glow. Amazon is kindly delivering to me little plastic cases to cover all of my cards with…and I am legitimately excited about this. Insert “you might be a nerd if” joke.

If there were another thing that I think about often these days, it’d be gold. This is the first year of my life that I have actually felt like I am improving. It’s a strange and wondrous feeling.

Well off to bed. I hope Friday pulls you into a closet and touches you on your pink parts.

For only the second time this season I have been assaulted by tree and flower cum shots. The other day, I could see it hanging in the air…everywhere. I foolishly went outside to wallow in natures seed. It was a mistake.

The temptation to purchase the 36o version of Minecraft is terrible…awful even. The situation wasn’t helped by my comic pal Rickard, batting at my tender Minecraft soft spot with his forked tongue. I will resist the urge though…I think…probably.

Was introduced to some great new music today by my pal Corey. Alex Clark of the car commercial…you’ll know it when you hear it. So far I love the whole album. I would suggest listening to the music first, THEN and only then going to look up a picture of the artist. Not what I expected.

Oh baby you…you follow my Tweeeets!

It’s true…it’s all true. I took Friday off to see The Avengers in the morning but the first showing wasn’t until 11;30 and it was in 3D (no thanks). I had already made super nerdy plans with my pal Chris Bergman to go get Avacyn Restored (Magic the Gathering), so had I seen the movie, It would’ve been too late to really dig in to the cards. I know…I still deserve to get my geek card revoked.

The wife and I watched the Newest installment of Sherlock Holmes and enjoyed it, though Jr seemed to be playing a caricature of himself from the first movie. It was still entertaining and the special effects were pretty impressive.

We went to a “Hero’s and Villians” costume party Saturday night but only had a baby-sitter(s) for a very limited time (thanks Tim and Amy), so we had to leave right as the party was getting started. Check my twitter pics to see a shot of my wife and I dressed up as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.

So overall it was a pretty nice weekend. Pretty relaxing. It was just a little too brief.

Yeah, I am just as surprised as you that John Locke is running the zombie mode of the forth coming Black Ops 2. I am a gigantic fan of the zombie mode that Treyarch put together. I have high hopes for this one.

Sorry for the late post. I am off work today so I decided to spend some time with the family. It didn’t work out that I could see The Avengers…I don’t wanna talk about tit. Though I am on my way out of the house to nerd out with some New Magic The Gathering and my pal Chris Bergman.

The wife and i really do play Skullgirls together. It’s one of the first head to head games outside of Dance Central we have ever played. Not to mention it’s a fast paced 2d fighter…oh and all there characters are hot girls (except the one pictured in the strip of course)…so its a win win win…etc. and so on.

I’m getting this one out late so sorry for the short blog. Must sleep now.

NSFW Comic Tournament

This strip speaks to a deeper meaning. I have no idea what that is, so if you figure it out please let a fella know.

Nearly every day it takes all of my power not to go to the store and empty my bank account on new Magic cards. I did, in fact, go to Mavericks Comic Shop this Saturday and pick up some boosters with my son. He got a little too “Touchy” with things in the store so we had to take out leave. I just assembled a fierce green deck and it played pretty well. So I am excited to supplement it with a few new cards I’ve acquired.

Only got a little bit of gaming in this weekend and wouldn’t you know it, it was Skullgirls. I will likely do a strip about it soon. While eating some sushi today , my wife and I played our first round of Hero Academy together. I should say that I’ve started to teach her how to play. Hopefully it will be something we gan both do, and that I am just not banned from.

I’ve tried out some new advertising over at hatefarm.com and inkoutbreak.com and hoping that works out well. I also finally returned my Yiynova tablet. I was never able to get a descent line quality. Even after removing all wacom drivers and reinstalling all of the Yiynova drivers, I could never remedy the jagged line issue. The customer support for the product was phenomenal. I bought it through a company that just so happen to be in my home town called Panda City. They were responsive and very polite. It’s a shame I can’t recommend this product, though they are supposed to work better on PC, which I haven’t tried.

Alright folks, may Monday at least take you out for a nice dinner before it has its way with you.

I did actually end up getting this game today…and damn it…they are right. It IS good. Its very much a old ResEv style survival horror controlled game. What it ramps up is the drama and emotion. I am loving it so far, and I opted to play it on my Mac since it was available. It’s a little strange that when you go to the “controls options screen” you see a 360 controller…and not key commands. Oh well, perhaps I will figure it out.

Had a glorious man/geek day with my pal Chris Bergman the other day. We started it off with some golf, consumed some Skyline Chili and ended the day with some beers and Magic the Gathering. Chris kicked my fucking ass. Real hard. Though I do feel I would’ve fared better if I didn’t get Mana-screwed one turn. I plan on assembling a deck that will make his deck burst into flames…literally.

So I’ve been playing Skullgirls with the wife. This surprises me as much as it surprises you. She is actually pretty good…with my help…she could be the best. Also tried out the iOS version of Marvel vs Capcom 2. If you are a fan of the game in any of its console iterations, I suggest you steer clear of this one. Its a cute and cuddly version of the game with touch controls. If you are a fan of this game I I don’t really need to go into any more depth on why not to get it. It’s actually likely you didn’t consider it in the first place…I’ll just be over here shutting up. I may have mentioned this but it appears betting Windows 7 on my Macbook will be a bit more difficult than I originally anticipated. I know not when I will have time to do it. I am not sure it will happen….TRIBES…NOOOOOO! <single tear>

Listen…I love Game of Thrones. Love it. But so far this season is a snooze fest. I know we have a lot of buildup going on here, but this season is half over folks. I have scheduled a day off to go see the Avengers in the morning of May the 4th with my pals Joey and Julian. A husband and wife power team that fight crime in their spare time. So this film with carry special meaning with them.

I am ready to take the next big steps with the comic. (Merch, a book, conventions, explore more/different advertising revenue, possible a donation button with donation rewards: how would you all feel about something like that?). All of you other creators have been here or are going to be here soon as well. Its a scary time. It’s the time that you are starting to put the pieces into place that will hopefully allow us to one day draw our comics as a full time job. It’s both extremely exciting and very terrifying. Anyone who is already a pro, on the verge of pro or still wrestling with the beginging years of your strip like me, please share your advice/experiences.
